As a certified instructor, I provide a fun, creative, imaginative atmosphere for elementary school age children for after school art instruction. With the provided curriculum, we give children an opportunity to learn how to draw, while using their own brainstorming ideas to make their individual artwork.

Midtown Friends, Sacramento, CA June 2009-present
Midtown Friends is a community church located in Midtown Sacramento; the community believes in justice and advocacy through the arts. As a member artist, I help organize shows and events for local artists to showcase their passion for activism. On event days,
James Kaneko Gallery, Sacramento, CA Jan. 2008-present
I volunteer my time and energy to maintain the gallery by receiving, hanging and taking down artwork. I also assist in opening receptions by serving refreshments.
Blue Line Gallery, Roseville, CA May 2008-current
As a volunteer at the Blue Line Gallery; I help lead the “Hands On” elementary school tour. The “Hands On” promotes art and creativity, which coincides with the current art exhibit.
